Vision and mission

Vision

Our Vision.

To become one of Uganda's leading telecommunications infrastructure companies, delivering innovative fiber solutions that support long-term connectivity and the country's digital growth.

Mission

Our Mission.

To provide quality communication services and networking solutions for an evolving regional market, through skilled professionals who deliver real value to our customers.

Fiber infrastructure, from the route to the customer

Fiber networks only perform when every stage is done properly: routes that are built to last, joints that are spliced cleanly, links that are tested, and records that let the next engineer find any fiber. Atomet takes on that full chain for network operators, ISPs, property developers and businesses across Kampala, Wakiso and the Central Region.

  • Fiber deploymentAerial and underground routes: pole hardware, trenching, ducting, cabinets and cable.
  • Installation and splicingFusion splicing, termination on ODFs and patch panels, and fit-out of street cabinets and hubs.
  • Last-mile connectionsFTTH drops to homes, businesses and apartment blocks, with customer equipment set up and activated.
  • Testing and commissioningOTDR traces and optical power readings on every link, so services are brought up on measured results.
  • Maintenance and fault repairPreventive maintenance, cable-cut response and re-splicing to restore service.
  • Planning and documentationRoute surveys, capacity planning, as-built records, topology maps and port records.

Values we hold ourselves to.

  • Customer SatisfactionA job is finished when the service works and the customer knows how to use it.
  • Quality AssuranceEvery link is tested and recorded before handover.
  • ReliabilityWe keep to agreed schedules and respond when faults are reported.
  • ExcellenceNeat cabinets, labelled fibers and clean splices, because the next engineer has to work there too.
  • InnovationWe keep our tools and methods current, from fusion splicers to digital network records.
  • Diversity & InclusionWe recruit and train technicians from across Uganda and value different perspectives in our teams.

Our Installation Process

The stages we follow to deliver a fiber optic connection, from the first site visit to handover.
