Four services, one crew from survey to handover

Most operators split this work across several contractors. We can take a route from the first survey to the last port record, or step in for any single part of it.

How a job runs

The same sequence on every route, whether it is one apartment block or a district-wide rollout. Nothing is handed over without test results and records. Open a stage to see the work.

  1. Fiber route planning screen over an OpenStreetMap street map of Kira, Wakiso: a dashed red planned route runs from a tie-in on Mbogo Road along local roads to termination boxes SFL-KIRA FDT-09-80 and FDT-09-85

Walk the route, count the customers, choose aerial or underground, map the planned route and price it.

  2. Lineman in an orange helmet strapped to the top of a utility pole, fixing a fiber drop cable to the pole hardware against an overcast sky
  3. Technician in a yellow Atomet hard hat splicing fibers into a blue closure on a cardboard mat, splicer case open beside him
  4. Atomet technician holding a Comway MAX-600 OTDR test set, its screen showing the OTDR measurement setup with wavelength, range and pulse controls
  5. Two documentation deliverables side by side: an as-built fiber route in Kira drawn on a street map with an As-Built Route.kml file badge, and an OTDR fiber test report for an end-to-end link with Location A at Kironde Road, tested at 1550 nm
